On Dungeon Room Enter

When a player enters a dungeon room

Fires every time a member of a run enters a room, one event per room entered. Unlike the onEnter triggers of the room, it is not limited by enterOnce.

Fields

FieldTypeDefaultDescription
dungeonInstanceRef<DungeonInstanceEntry>—Only runs of this dungeon instance trigger the event. Empty = every dungeon.
roomRef<DungeonRoomEntry>—Only this room triggers the event. Empty = every room. The event fires at EVERY entry into the room, even when the room's enterOnce already spent its own onEnter triggers and modifiers: the event observes, enterOnce only limits what the room itself runs. The context keys of this event (run, seed, room, template, difficulty, position) are filled for the rooms of a GENERATED dungeon only: the triggers fired for a room of a fixed dungeon receive none of them.
roomTemplateRef<DungeonRoomTemplateEntry>—Generated dungeons: only the rooms made from this room template trigger the event. Empty = every room. A room of a generated dungeon is never matched by the Room field above; a template here never matches a room of a fixed dungeon. The context carries the run, the seed, the room, the template, the difficulty and the position.

How to use it

Fires at every entry of a member into a room. It observes: the room's enterOnce limits only what the room itself runs, not this event. For a generated dungeon, filter with roomTemplate; the triggers get the context keys RUN_ID, SEED, ROOM, ROOM_TEMPLATE, DIFFICULTY and POSITION. For a fixed dungeon, filter with room; no context key is filled.
