Minimap Settings

One entry per server, describing how the minimap is drawn and where.

The minimap samples the world around the player, renders it as a grid of coloured cells, and draws waypoints and points of interest over it. It uses Minecraft's own map colours rather than an invented palette: a player already knows how to read a filled map, so a terrain palette agreeing with nothing would be one more thing to learn.

The map is suspended with the rest of the HUD while the player reads a screen.
